Belgium has long been famous for its chocolates. For this reason, it is hardly surprising that NEWTREE, a Belgian company, devised in 2001 a new approach to chocolate: the alliance between gastronomy and health.
The name, “ NEWTREE” means a new (“New”), approach to nutrition (“Nutrition”) as well as the use of natural plants and ingredients (as implied by the word “Tree”) in foodstuffs.
At NEWTREE, Research and Development is of primary importance: an in-house team of expert chocolate makers, nutritionists and biochemists are constantly at work, creating delicious, new original chocolate recipes using healthful, beneficial ingredients.
